We were a group of 10 and every single one of us just fell in love with this place. This place reminded us of our family homes in India, which we left long time ago. It gave us a feeling of nostalgia.
This place is full of great memories and we would love to go again (if given the chance). The water activities available at the property kept the kids entertained for hours on end.
The hosts were very friendly and continually went out of their way to ensure that we had the best stay possible. Many thanks for that Liz & John.
We all agreed that the place should have been called “Little Paradise, Kaitaia” instead of “Little Lake Retreat”.

Awesome place to relax, there were 4 adults & 4 children, Liz and John were awesome hosts, their home made sweet chili sauce was delicious. Will definitely recommend to others to stay and of course we will return and stay there again. Used the Kayaks, children swam in the pool went for walks....ended our trip with a Bon fire with toasted marshmellows. Thank you so much Liz & John, 2 thumbs up and 5 stars!

We stayed over only two nights and regrettably it was not enough - should have been there a whole week. It was really fantastic and the hosts were great. We enjoyed it en can recommend it at any time.

The kids had a amazing time in the pool and in the kayaks . Breakfast was a added surprise and clean linen and made beds was a another bonus to a long drive with 3 kids in tow .
Brilliant price point as well - complete value for money .
