Welcome to
Little Lakes Retreat
Little Lakes Retreat is situated 15 km NE of Kaitaia, just off State Highway 10. With only 15 mins to Tokerau Beach on the beautiful Karikari Peninsular on the east coast and 15 mins to the famous 90 Mile Beach at Waipapakauri on the west coast, we are perfectly situated for both East and West coast water and beach sports depending on which way the wind is blowing for the activity your involved in.
Our 40 acre (16ha) property overlooks the Ranganu Harbour. The accommodation is across the driveway from our home. Remember sirens and street light don’t happen out here quietness and clear skies are the norm.
We have 4 Lakes – 2 large ones that you can use our two kayaks and rowing dinghy on (life jackets supplied). Meander your way around the edge and see the swans and babies that live on our shores. There is a gentle walk that will take you around the perimeter of the farm.
We keep simple – you’re on holiday!
Sit on the deck with a cold one – play in the swimming pool or go for a walk – JUST RELAX!
Beds Available
1 room downstairs with a Queen sized bed
Upstairs – 1 large room with a double bed, a king single bed and a single bed
On the landing is a single bed, an a foam pullout couch that pulls out to a double bed.
There is also the trundler and 2 foam mattresses available.
Downstairs in the lounge both couches pull out to double beds.
All linen is provided i.e. towels, sheets, duvets, pillows etc. Please bring your own beach towels
A port-a-cot is available on request
Cooking Facilities
There is no electric stove but a good sized BBQ. Microwave, large electric fry pan and rice cooker.
2 element hotplate available if required.
Also equipped with Electric Jug, Toaster, Dishwasher, Fridge/Freezer and coffee plunger. Tea, coffee and sugar supplied.
Other
There is 1.5 bathrooms – 1 has a toilet and vanity the second has a toilet, vanity and shower
Our fenced swimming pool is in front of the accommodation and available for your enjoyment.

$35 per night per additional guest – up to a total of 10 people
